Speech Bill

As an effort to reform the archaic defamation laws of India & strengthen freedom of speech in the country, we were glad to lend our support to this cause. Presented to the Parliament of India as a Private Member’s Bill by Lok Sabha MP Tathagata Satpathy, the website was a means to introduce the proposed reforms as well as build support for the bill amongst the public.
