Frappé Workshop

Frappé is the company behind ERPNext, a widely used open-source ERP framework. It also runs a growing family of open-source and commercial products built on the Frappé framework.

This engagement began with a brief to imagine the evolution of Frappé’s website. It soon grew into a bigger challenge of sensemaking a rapidly evolving ecosystem, balancing the open-source ERPNext product, the emerging Frappé SaaS offering, and the newly formed ERPNext Foundation, a non-profit set up to steward the open-source community.

Miranj conducted a website strategy workshop with Frappé’s leadership and team. We mapped their sprawling landscape of products, forums, documentation, partner programs, and communities against each initiative’s audiences and goals. This helped us envision a site structure and architecture for a family of web properties to represent Frappé’s complex, multi-product ecosystem as a coherent story.
