Pipal Academy
Pipal Academy conducts courses and workshops on technology and is led by expert trainer Anand Chitipothu. They approached us to create a site that would showcase and communicate essential information about the academy’s various offerings.
We built a website centered around the key content of Courses, Events, and Trainers, wrapped inside a simple design system. Each item was given its own unique page narrative while also being heavily cross-linked with the other content types. This ensures high discoverability regardless of a user’s starting point.
Under the hood the site is built using Jekyll, a popular static-site generator powered by text files (as opposed to a database or a visual content management interface). This allowed the folks at Pipal Academy — who’re technologists already comfortable with handling text-files-based software codebases — close control over the content, markup, and output of the site. It also enabled us to smoothly handover over the reigns1 of the website to Pipal Academy to run and build on top of once the project was complete.
